Conversations with God

Looking back to the stories of David, we can read how God was looking for a leader whom He wanted, not the people as with Saul. Over David’s life, we see a man focused on pleasing God even though he failed from time to time (sometimes greatly). The conversations we see shared by David with his God can provide a Christian many lessons in how we converse with God in prayer, how we petition Him, and to what level we must go to be heard sometimes.

There are several places in the lesson where Roger notes photos or pictures for the kids as he passed out papers for the kids to follow along with the lesson and look for photos. The kids did a great job following along, we hope the lesson is encouraging to you and causes all who listen to work to be more like David in regard to having conversations with God.

Recording and slides from the lesson are below. If you have questions or comments for this lesson, please ask or share it with us.
