Most everyone who is old enough to read or write has heard of the Titanic. Though the great ship sank over 107 years ago, it is still frequently in conversations, stories, or historical accounts of great disasters.
Brock Begley uses the history of this amazing vessel to focus on what caused such a great ship to go down and how the story relates to many of the things we all deal with in life. We all face challenges and often we fail at success because we are too ambitious or are led astray by the people in our lives. Much like the story of the Titanic.
Broc looks at some of those mentioned in the Bible on what great missions they embarked upon and often failed at initially until they drew close to God and then they found success.
The slides from Broc’s Powerpoint presentation are below as are both lessons recorded as MP3 files. We hope you can listen or share as you try to improve the person you are before God. It is a mission we should all be on, daily.

The feature image for this post is from the show on National Geographic called “Draining the Oceans” where they use 3-D scanning to create accurate maps of what lies under the ocean, and they portray what would happen if the water was drained away. It is a very interesting program and one you might enjoy after listening to these lessons. Check out Drain the Titanic.
