Mike Grushon did is monthly lesson today at Waynesville and shared a lesson he called, “Three Imperatives For Christian Living” from James 1:21-22.

He began the lesson, as you can see below, by reading James 1:19-25 from the NASB. Then began to talk about things that Christians are told to put aside and what the original language meant when saying that they should be putting aside all filthiness and all wickedness.

But in addition to what we are to put aside, there is one thing that we are to take a hold of, the Word of God then be doers of the Word.
