Everyone has faith in something – something they can’t see or prove. But we all put our faith in things we can see results from. We can’t see the wind, but we can see a tree moving in the wind, or a home destroyed by a tornado.
For a Christian, our faith is a result of what we see around us – humans, the diversity of life, reproduction (creation). One of the best passages in the entire New Testament to explain what “faith” is is Hebrews 11:1-2…
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
