The Lamb and the Lion

Most humans love to watch nature shows. We are so captivated by the animals on earth and how they behave, good or bad.

Two extremes of animal life on earth is that of a lamb and a lion. One is recognized as ‘the king of beasts’ where they other is often seen as the meekest of creatures.

As Abe points out in his lessons, there are some lambs that we need to be wary of, but for the most part, they are very docile animals. Animals that while so gentle, were those that God commanded be sacrificed to Him in the old testament. Lions on the other hand are animals that none of us would want to mess with! Sure they look sleepy much of the time, but like our domesticated cats, they spend much of the day at rest and head out at night to hunt.

So how do these two very different animals have to do with our worship or our metaphor for God and Christ? Listen to the lessons below and see if you can better understand the differences and similarities of the lamb and the lion.
