Kyle’s friend and colleague, spiritually and as a Christian, Eric Renegar joined us today to share his lesson entitled, “Staying on the Path”.

Eric opened with a member reading a passage of scripture that Eric selected for his lesson from 1 John 2:1-6. You can read that for yourself or listen to the recording of the lesson below.

The lesson paints a picture of following Christ and God as depicted by the idea of walking on a path to a specific destination. Eric shares the idea of Jesus being our advocate and propitiation for our sins. He also focuses on what an “advocate” can do for us. He also notes that in verse 4 of the passage read, if we say we know Christ and don’t follow His commandments we are liars. That is tough to think about!
