As he does each 2nd Sunday, Marvin Eads joined us again today to share his lesson on “Repentance” or “A Turning Toward God” from Acts 2:36-38.
He begins his lesson noting that all of us are either for or against God in our lives and some never decide.
Next, Marvin spends some of his time discussing what Repentance really is in how it affects the heart and give some examples. But then he reminds us that Repentance is about personal responsibility.
We all need to make choices in life, but our choices before God are the most important of all. We just need to remind ourselves and others that waiting is not in our best interest.
You can hear the recording below and see the text of Marvin’s lesson in our gallery further down. If you are curious about anything noted in his lesson we would be happy to discuss those things with you. Just ask!
