Visiting preacher, Mike Grushon shared his lesson with us this month, entitled “Press On!” using scripture from Philippians 3:12-17 talking about the value of TRUE discipleship. The importance of “pressing on” is made very clear by the Apostle Paul in this text.

What does Paul mean my saying that he “presses on”? Mike shares some definitions for what this can mean and what Mike shows is likely what was intended.

Paul has a mission in mind and his pressing on is to lay hold of something very important. What is that? You can hear as you follow the lesson. What do we press on for in our lives and men, women, moms, dads, grandparents, or family or friends? A prize? What is our “prize” we seek? Is it physical or spiritual? Which is the safest bet?
