Roger shared part 1 of a 2 part lesson today on Making Decisions. The lesson begins by looking at the challenges of buying a home to the novelty of the questions and answers that kids ask one another to do things. From childhood, the questions and answers continue requiring us to make decisions every day. It may be the people we meet, the places we live, or vacation, even to religion.
So what are the decisions we make based on? A “feeling”? Experience? Hope? Desire?
How did God’s people make decisions when they didn’t have the answers clearly before them? How does the “casting of lots” or the “Urim and Thummim” factor into the decisions made by the people of God in the OLD and NEW Testaments? Did God authorize the use of the things?
