The church at Waynesville is VERY fortunate in that we have so many well-educated men and women who have spent years in knowing and understanding the Bible. Brad Beckett is certainly one of those who has spent a good portion of his life learning the depths of scriptural wisdom and history. Brad has also done mission work in Thailand teaching and preaching the Word of God in far away lands.
This Sunday Brad presented two excellent lessons on faith. The first lesson was on “Busting Some Myths About Faith” looking at who is listed in Hebrews as men and women of faith, and what qualifies them as ‘faithful’ with a Mythbusters spin on it. As great as some of these Bible heroes were, all had some stain of sin on their record. The second lesson was “Four Facts About Faith” which focused on the view that many have on salvation with or without faith.
