Roger and Kyle split the lessons today on different views on the theme of ‘encouragement’.
Roger took the first lesson and focused on creation, and the universe as we know it. In the lesson, he focused on the diversity and size (small and large) of all that exists – from we humans, to trees, to mountains, the earth, other planets, the sun, our galaxy and beyond. Why? Because as Roger points out in his lesson, if we hope to come to God and seek and find salvation, we first have to believe that He is, and that all starts with a belief in creation. Do we believe in nothing producing everything, or do we see the foolishness in that and see design? The question is ages old, but to really focus on what exists and see how it work so well, makes a non-God universe impossible. Once that is established, a Christian has it all, if not in this life, in the next!
Kyle focused on encouragement, what it is, how we can get it, who we can look to in order to better understand this word. From Saul to Paul, from Barnabas to us today. Who is an “encourager” and what do people like that in our lives mean to us?
Answers to these questions can be heard by listening to the recordings of both lesson in the links below.
