You may not think of Joseph (the council member and wealthy man who asked for the body of Jesus after His crucifixion) as a “man of courage or faith” but indeed he was! Abe did a great job of giving us a good reason to look at this man, to see who he was, and how he played a role in the writings of the New Testament. One thing I thought of as Abe’s lessons wrapped up, we would not have the tomb story the day when Christ arose, or the angels sitting on the stone had it not been the act of this man, Joseph! How many men named Joseph can you think of in the texts of the Bible? Most are noteworthy!
