One of the greatest stories of friendship between individuals in the Bible is from the story of David and Jonathan. These two young men had every reason to despise one another, but as we’ll hear from these lessons by Abe, circumstance was less significant than the desire to do what was right, keeping God top of mind, and having a true friend.
Some today try to twist this story to suggest that David and Jonathan were in something more than a friendly relationship, or that God permits lifestyles that He otherwise forbids. Read the story and listen to the lessons and you’ll see that such allegations are more twisting of scripture.
