Cody’s lessons today was a very timely one titled “In Whom Do We Trust?” looking at the focus of the United States as a nation at its inception, and the focus of this nation today. There was a time that this nation was forged by men and women who trusted in God, who worshipped God, and who followed God’s commandments. Today, the bounty that this nation has enjoyed through God’s providence is now being consumed while spiting the very source of all things good. Our money may say “In God We Trust” for now, but many are trying to do away with God and any mention of His name. Are we going to stand by and say nothing? The Bible is clear that God will not allow a nation to exist for long when it stands against Him.
