Abe’s two lessons for today were on “Going Home” or “Coming Home” depending on which way you are looking at it!
As touched on in his first lesson, home is one of the places you most look forward to when you’ve been away. Vacation, school, work, business, coming home is (or should be) one of the things we all most look forward to.
So what should home feel like to us? Why do we miss it when we are away? Why do so many of us long for it when we are older, once that part of our life is past? It can be a very special place of warmth, happiness, love, and comfort.
The home that God has promised us if we are found faithful is like that, but MUCH better! In heaven, there will be no trace of anything to concern us, all will be joy and happiness! We just need to be sure we are on that road that leads to our home with God.
