Today, Cody shared a lesson using material from Robert Harkrider entitled, “God Has Spoken”, focusing on Hebrews 1:1-3.
He begins by discussing just WHO God is and what He has done for us to date. He also notes the fact that we can know God by referring to scripture!
In the past, it was prophets who gave us God’s will including the text of the old and new testaments of 66 books! But now, today, God speaks to us through His Son Jesus. The record of what He has to say is recorded by the New Testament writers like Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Paul, Peter, and others.
Are we listening to them?
While Moses and the prophets of the Old Testament were men of renown and recognized for their works by God, Jesus surpasses them all. So His will and His instructions are what we should seek and embrace.
