A subject that Roger has had on his mind for some time is the idea of “Fault Lines”. Like the earth, we humans have fractures and cracks in our personalities, our minds, and in our spiritual lives. These are hidden areas of risk that can, in the right moment, unleash catostrophic emotion, anger, frustrations, sadness, hurt, loss, or any emotion sometimes without notice. Yes, we are much like nature in this regard.
So to help remind us of this part of our humanity, Roger presented two lessons tying the unseen cracks in our lives with those in nature.
