We all face choices every day. Do we sleep in? Do we get up? What do we eat for breakfast? What do we wear to work? What do we do after work. Then there are the bigger choices, who do we date? Who do we marry? Where will we live? How many kids will we have?
Jesus had a choice, to remain as God or to leave heaven for the sake of a sinful world. Simply amazing the choice He made. Then He chose men who would be His disciples. Would they agree or would they say “no”? All of them just walked away from the jobs they had, often from family, and said “yes”.
Throughout the New Testament people made choices that changed history. Jesus, Judas, Peter, Mary, Martha, Joseph, and Pilate, all made history. Some changed their minds and made history again. Each facing a choice of “right” and “wrong” – “life” and “death”.
We have choices to make as humans. Will we obey Christ and try to follow the path of righteousness? Or will we ignore Him and remain steeped in sin and the pleasures of it? You can listen to the lessons below, but it is your choice…
