You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” – Deuteronomy 11:18-20 (NKJV)
The quote above is from Abe’s second lesson today, but it is one that I felt summed up both lessons: the importance of parenting, what God expects of parents, what God expects parents to instill in their kids, and the structure of the family unit in raising children.
Used to be standard protocol, but these days the family unit is not a unit, and is broken. That has led to a myriad of issues in turning out godly kids, who become godly parents, who in turn have more godly kids. Listen and remember…
