The past several lessons that Abe has presented, have been grouped as part of a series he has titled “Conduct in the House of God“. Each lesson has given us tips or reminders on how we are to conduct ourselves in the assembly of the church, and to be sure we are doing all and only the things commanded of us.
Today’s lessons were focused on the widows of the church. He discussed who are “widows indeed” and who are the “younger widows” and how each is to be treated and cared for. The church is to carry the burden in some cases, but not all. Do you know what those cases are? How should we help? Who is the primary caretaker of those who have lost a husband or wife? How does all this fit into the church?
These and many other questions are answered in the two lessons below. Please take time to listen to the recordings below, download them, share them, or review the messages and see if you are following the pattern that God has set for the care of widows in the church.
