As we get older, life becomes more difficult. We have aches and pains that we did not have or got over quickly when we were younger. Age usually makes physical things more of a challenge. Age can make spiritual things more of a challenge as well.
We are going to study (recordings below) about a man who continued his fight to the end. Let’s take a quick look at people who had great success later in life:
- Grandma Moses (Anna Mary Roberson Moses)
- Colonel (Harland David) Sanders
- Nola (Hill) Ochs
- Most notable of all, Caleb – God’s Servant!
Numbers 14:24 – “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.”
- Caleb is a man who set a good example for all.
- He demonstrated his faith by his works.
- He had a “different” or “another” spirit.
- He followed his God to the end.
- He never quit!!
