Alan Beck joined us today and began his lesson looking at a famous advertising campaign featuring Michael Jordan, in the Be Like Mike Gatorade ads. He spun to his lesson title, “Be Like Christ”.

Alan begins his lesson with a passage that many of you have likely heard sung as a song before, from Galatians 2:20 where Paul talks to the Galatians (and us) about how Christ works in his life.

He transitions to see how we can be more like Christ in our lives, and how when things are tough, we often get weak or can become prideful when physical things are too good. We may even fin difficulty to have mercy for the wicked. He ends his lesson looking at how challenges in our lives can turn into growth for all of us.
