As a lead-in to Kyle’s lesson next week (10/04/20) Roger presented a lesson on “Bad Behavior in the Bible” as a contrast to what Kyle’s lesson is to be on.
When we look at scripture, what do we see? If we take the entirety of the Bible and break it down into themes, where does knowing God, Good, Evil, obedience, salvation, chastening, and instruction stack up by the percentage of the Bible it takes up? Does knowing about God take up 5 or 10%? What about defining good and evil? Maybe 20%? None of these take up as much of the Bible text as chastening and instruction. Why? Because we are not born to understand the spiritual nature of God, Christ, angels, or our own souls. Those things must be learned.
So when we talk about BAD BEHAVIOR, we are really talking about the “natural man/woman”. So please take time to follow Roger as he talks about four individuals in scripture who show BAD BEHAVIOR: Haman, Abimelech, King Herod, and Jezebel. A recording of the lesson and images of Roger’s PowerPoint slides are below… Hope you enjoy the study and lesson!
