Jesus said that he did not come to judge but that His words would judge in the last day. This is how Alan opened his lesson today on “Authority”. He goes on to point out that the Father has given His Son authority to execute judgement.

So what does Jesus do with the authority that God has given to him? What to say and speak? To make disciples of all nations? Are his disciples to copy this role? What if they forgot something? How could this all work?

How do we today get access to authority? How was the Old Testament preserved? Is the New Testament trustworthy? What do we have to gain my God having eternity on His side?
