James 4:14 (NKJV) – “whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”

Ecclesiastes 1:2-4 (NKJV) – “Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher; “Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.” What profit has a man from all his labor in which he toils under the sun? One generation passes away, and another generation comes; But the earth abides forever.”

What makes life? Not just our lives, but what makes life? For those whom are unwilling to accept God exists, this is a rather difficult question. For those who have faith in God and see the evidence of him all around us (Psalm 19:1), knowing where life is from makes perfect sense.
