Brother Brad Beckett joins us today to share a lesson entitled, “The Compassion of Christ”.

The sermon’s overall message was that Jesus was moved with compassion toward those who were physically hurting, emotionally wounded, and spiritually lost, and that His followers must learn to see people with the same compassionate concern. The sermon’s goal was not merely to make Christians feel sympathy, but to move them toward action: feeding, helping, noticing, comforting, evangelizing, praying, and obeying the gospel.
