Most of us who have been around for a while have heard business owners and realtors say the following when referring to the potential success of a business or home working out. They say, “location, location, location”. This is true for many successful and unsuccessful businesses. Sometimes it is key to how we raise our families. It may be a rough neighborhood that fosters key development tendencies in our kids, or even us. It may be a really nice neighborhood that does the same. It may mean a long drive for food or to get to work. Our location can make life hard on us, or easy on us.
The same has been true with regard to the history of the Bible and the people in it. Where they began, where they went, how they got there are all reasons why things happened as they did/do. Certainly, God directs all that He wishes to direct, but part of his planning seems to be around certain places.
