On February 28th Kyle took us on a viewing adventure, from 30,000 feet to just 10 feet!
What if someone said, “Where are you right now?” How would you answer them? Would it be from space? What about a satellite? Perhaps from a commercial airplane? How about a single-engine plane? A hot air balloon? What about looking at their seat?
All these things take us from 30,000 feet to less than 10 feet!
So what about that same methodology when trying to explain the Bible to someone? Say we start with a 52,800-foot view?
What is a “Bible”? What does the word mean?
What about a 30,000-foot view? Would they see it is comprised of 66 books? 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament? What is a “Testament”? How are the books divided up?
What about a 15,000-foot view? Would they learn about the Holy Spirit? Would they understand the Bible talks about the beginning of time and how sin came into the world?
What about a 10,000-foot view? A 5,000-foot view? A 100-foot view? How about just a 10-foot view?
What would they see?
